About

Ever since seeing his mother sat down cross legged on the floor in their hallway, with one leg stretched out controlling the foot pedal of a sewing machine- his life has never been the same.

Fraser studied his BA at De Montfort University and went on to win the Visionary Knitwear Award at Graduate Fashion Week 2018 with his graduate collection. He then achieved a scholarship from the BFC to study his Masters in Fashion Knitwear at Central Saint Martins. He has now recently launched his brand FRASER BRUCE MILLER.

Fraser's design aesthetic stems from his Danish, English and Scottish heritage. Heritage is key.

Growing up in a tight lipped devout Christian home, Fraser found it EXTREAMLY hard to be authentic. Because of this constant battle Fraser had with rules and appearances, there is always an awkwardness to his work. Constrained desires.

The idea of upcycling, recycling, re purposing or the general study of clothing that has been handed down from one member of kin to another, comes from living in a household with 9 other siblings.

Manipulate the garments that you are wearing to your desire. Unzip, rezip, move around, leave wide open or just leave plain is the choice of the wearer.

Be true to you. Hide what is not needed and allow others to view your controlled vista.
